James A. Mitchell has been named Chairman of the Board of Directors for Mel Trotter Ministries. Mel Trotter demonstrates the compassion of Christ to the hungry, hurting and homeless of the Greater Grand Rapids area. Under the Presidency of Reverend Chico Daniels, over 160 employees and numerous volunteers work diligently to train, rehabilitate and serve the immediate needs of more than 10,000 hungry, hurting and homeless people in our community. Mel Trotter operates on a 12 million dollar budget, and all of the funds are privately donated.
